Professional workshops for our teachers will be announced. School will be closed on those days.
In case of snow, Winfree follows the emergency and inclement weather closing declared by CCPS. One week of closings is built into the calendar. Make-up days are at the discretion of the Director and Preschool Committee.
CCPS delayed openings will be followed EXACTLY. If CCPS opens 1 hour late, Winfree will open at 10:15 with NO early Extended Care. If CCPS opens 2 hours late, Winfree will open at 11:15. In such and event, the remainder of the school day will proceed as normal, including afternoon classes and Extended Care.
If CCPS declares an early dismissal due to inclement weather or other emergency, Winfree will phone all afternoon families to arrange early departure of children.
